Do I need to have my life “together” before starting coaching?
Not at all. Coaching isn’t about arriving perfect or polished - it’s about showing up as you are. Messy, exhausted, burnt out, unsure…all of that is welcome here. You don’t need a five-year plan or a color-coded journal to begin. You just need the willingness to say, “I’m ready for something different.”
How do I know if this is right for me?
If you’re tired of feeling “fine” all the time, if you’ve been showing up for everyone but yourself, or if you’re ready to stop people-pleasing and start listening to your own voice, coaching is for you. It’s right if you’re ready to invest in yourself and take steps (big or small) toward the life you actually want. The fact that you’re seeking out trusted mentors is a great clue that you’re ready for something more.
What if I’m nervous about investing in myself?
That’s completely normal. Most of us have spent years investing in everyone else. Coaching is a bold act of self-respect. Instead of asking, “Is it selfish?” a more helpful question might be, “What’s the cost of staying the same?” You are worth the time, energy, and investment it takes to come home to yourself. If you would make the time for everyone else, why wouldn’t you make that same time for yourself?
What happens in a coaching session?
Think of it like a conversation with purpose. We’ll talk about where you’re at, what’s weighing on you, and what you’d love to feel instead. I’ll ask questions that help you see yourself clearly, offer tools and perspectives, and support you in building the boundaries and confidence you need. It’s not a lecture. It’s not fluff. It’s a collaboration. I weave proven methods into natural conversations, laugh with you, sit with you, and provide hope, encouragement and actionable steps to assist you in remembering how to trust yourself.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. I believe support should be accessible, and I’m happy to work with you on a payment plan that makes sense. Just ask; no shame, no judgment.
Can I do just one session?
Absolutely. I offer a one-off 90-minute deep dive if you want to test the waters or focus on one specific issue. Real transformation usually happens over time, which is why my packages are designed for ongoing support. I want to ensure you have the tools and support and you need.
What if my needs are bigger than coaching?
If I ever believe you’d be better supported by a therapist or medical professional, I’ll always be honest with you and share trusted resources. You are also welcome to click here which provides a list of professionals that you can reach out to. Coaching is about growth and momentum, and sometimes the best next step is healing with a licensed professional alongside or before our work together.
Do I have to cry on every call?
Nope. But you can if you need to. Some sessions are deep and emotional, others are full of breakthroughs, laughter, or even a little sass. However you show up, it’s valid. We all have our own ways of processing emotions - there is no “right” way to show up. I’m here for all of it.
Will you tell me exactly what to do?
Sorry, no. My job isn’t to hand you a script for your life, it’s to help you hear your own voice and make decisions that feel right for you. I’ll challenge you, encourage you, and sometimes lovingly call you out…but the choices are always yours. To be honest, my goal is for you to trust yourself so much, you don’t even question it anymore.
What if I don’t have the time?
If you’re thinking you don’t have time, that’s probably the biggest sign you need this. Coaching doesn’t add another “should” to your plate. It gives you clarity and energy back. Sessions are short (about 50 minutes) and focused. Investing an hour in yourself could save you hours of spinning your wheels.
What if I’m scared to start?
Then you’re in exactly the right place. Choosing yourself can feel scary, because you’re breaking old patterns. That’s why I’m here - to hold space, walk beside you, and remind you that fear doesn’t mean stop. It usually means you’re onto something important. Sometimes the best decisions of our lives start with being scared, but ready.
Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
Therapy and coaching are both powerful forms of support, but they serve different purposes.
Therapy can often be focused on the past - helping you process, heal, and work through trauma, mental health challenges, or difficult life experiences. It’s a safe place to unpack emotions, understand patterns, and receive treatment from a licensed professional.
Coaching is more forward-focused. It’s about clarity, accountability, and practical tools you can use right now to move toward the life you want. In coaching, we talk about where you are today, where you want to be, and how to close that gap.
They’re not in competition. They can actually complement each other beautifully. Many women I work with have benefitted from both therapy and coaching at different points in their journey. Therapy provides healing; coaching provides momentum.
If at any point I believe your needs would be better supported by therapy, I will always be honest with you and share trusted resources. My role isn’t to replace therapy, but to walk alongside you as you reclaim your confidence, your boundaries, and your sense of self.
